I WAS BUILDING A BUSINESS , TRAVELING THE WORLD, AND ON THE SURFACE EVERYTHING LOOKED PERFECT.

I should have been in the prime years of my life. I was living the dream living in exotic locations, experiencing luxury travel, successfully scaling my business, but what I didn’t show was my body breaking down from the stress of operating a full-scale business, managing a team of 5, and living in a new country every month.

Building my first business I was insanely ambitious and driven. The kind of person who didn't slow down for anything.

Except my face broke out in cystic acne that wouldn't clear no matter what I did. My periods became debilitating due to PMDD that felt less like PMS and more like losing myself (and all my work momentum) for a week and a half every month. Panic attacks I couldn't predict or explain despite quitting caffeine. Bloating even without eating. A depression I didn't recognize as depression because I was still "getting things done.” And underneath all of it, a body that felt like it was running on empty— literal stage 3 adrenal fatigue, though no one called it that at the time.

The medical system's best advice? "It's probably just stress." Everything looks normal, no plan, no explanation.

My mind was going crazy. I was a driven woman, crying in between client calls, terrified that the body that was supposed to carry me through everything I wanted to build was breaking to the point where I’d have to abandon all of my dreams and aspirations. I was a walking identity and physical health crisis.

Finally, I broke. And in that brokenness, I decided fuck this!

I WAS GOING TO HEAL MYSELF AND BUILD UNF*CKWITHBLE RESILIENCE, SO I NEVER EVER HAVE TO COMPROMISE BETWEEN MY HEALTH, VITALITY AND BUSINESS AGAIN.

I became obsessed. Not in a healthy way at first, in the way you get obsessed when you're terrified of staying stuck and will do anything to survive. I lived on PubMed, reading every study I could find on adrenal function, hormones, gut health, the nervous system. I got certified in functional health and went deeper than most practitioners ever bother to, because "good enough" wasn't going to cut it for my own body. I trained with a naturopathic doctor for my clinical hours, continued certification after certification. I ended up training at Harvard and MIT and working with 800+ clients.

And of course, I fixed myself. Not by slowing down, not by quitting the business, not by becoming someone softer and smaller than who I actually am. But by finding the actual mechanism underneath everything I'd been told was "just stress." The acne cleared. The panic attacks stopped. My period came back like a normal period instead of a monthly emergency. And for the first time in years, my business and my body were finally moving in the same direction instead of fighting each other.

Today I work with high-performing women to find that same root cause in their own bodies, before it costs them what it almost cost me. I refuse to let another woman slip into burnout at the cost of her dreams, so I bulletproof them.

Not because they're broken. Because they're ambitious, and they refuse to let their health be the ceiling on everything they're building.
